In the Parable of the Talents (Matthew 25:14-30), what does the master's commendation of the servants who doubled their talents suggest about God's expectations of believers?

A God expects believers to amass great wealth for themselves. B God expects believers to passively wait for his return without actively using their gifts. C God expects believers to use their abilities and resources to further His kingdom and produce spiritual fruit. D God expects believers to focus solely on their personal salvation and ignore the needs of others.
